Андроньевская Большая улица ( конец 19 века). Названа по Спасо-Андроникову монастырю, к кот. примыкает. В 1918-1922 годы называлась Красноармейская улица. Старое название - улица Большая Андроновка. От Андроньевской площади до Таганской улицы.
